Softball Charity Tournament
28th semi-annual charity softball tournament for education will be held on
May 26-27, 2012
at the Krc Altron Baseball Center!
In cooperation with The Prague Post Newspaper, the Prague Post Endowment Fund hosts a charity softball tournament that brings together teams representing the international business community.
The Heavy Hitters Charity Tournament for Education is the main Prague Post Endowment Fund’s fund-raising event and it has become a Prague tradition.
The tournament was attended by more than 250 people. Participating teams pay an entrance fee and sponsoring businesses help cover the costs of hosting the event. Funds are also raised through the sale of food and beverages. In-kind sponsors donated all food and beverages.
Proceeds raised by the torunament will be divided between the endowment fund´s educational activities (workshops for teachers, 4th year of 'The Best teacher of English award') and supporting school for long-termed hospitalized children within Thomayer University Hospital. MORE INFORMATION
