The Prague Post Endowment Fund
Softball charity Tournament
In cooperation with The Prague Post Newspapers, the Prague Post Endowment Fund hosts a charity softball tournament that brings together teams representing the international business community.
The Heavy Hitters Charity Tournament for Education is the main Prague Post Endowment Fund’s fund-raising event and it has become a Prague tradition.
The tournament is usually attended by 200-300 people. Participating teams pay an entrance fee and sponsoring businesses help cover the costs of hosting the event. Funds are also raised through the sale of food and beverages. In-kind sponsors donate all food and beverages.
All proceeds raised by the tournament will go to the educational programs for secondary and primary school students and the 2nd year of 'The Best teacher of English award'
The 24th Heavy Hitters Softball Charity Tournament was held on June 12-13, 2010.
